The World BJJ Championship 2008 took place in Long Beach,CA on June 5th,6th,7th and 8th. The AZSBJJF Competitors brought back to AZ five medals:
Luciana Dias (Megaton) – 3rd place – Adult/Female/Black/Heavy Weight
Ryan Beauregard (Demetrius Ramos) – 1st place – Adult/Brown/Light Weight
Michael Westbrook (Gustavo Dantas) - 1st place – Adult/Purple/Super Heavy Weight
Mackenzie Dern (Megaton) – 1st place – Juvenile/Female/Blue/Light weight
Patrick Runez (Gustavo Dantas) – 3rd place – Adult/Blue/Super Feather
